CareersCopilot is a career intelligence platform that provides AI-assisted career scoring, resume/CV writing, interview preparation, salary benchmarking, job search tools, and a marketplace connecting you with independent career-service partners. By registering, logging in, or using any part of the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

CareersCopilot currently offers:

• Career Score: an AI-generated score and percentile benchmarking your career trajectory across education, company pedigree, role progression, compensation, velocity, and consistency, based on information you provide.
• AI CV Writer: generation of a rewritten CV/resume from your uploaded resume and/or profile data, optionally tailored to a job description you supply.
• AI Interview Preparation: AI-assisted and/or scheduled interview coaching based on a job description and company details you provide.
• Salary Map: compensation benchmarking against aggregated, anonymised market data.
• Job Search: curated job listings relevant to your profile.
• Partner Marketplace: discovery of independent third-party providers of resume writing, LinkedIn enhancement, courses & certification, interview coaching, personality grooming, and international study/careers guidance.
• Resume Screening (for businesses): a tool that allows verified business users to bulk-screen candidate resumes against a job description using AI.

Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time, and some features are limited to paid plans as described on our Upgrade page.

CareersCopilot is intended for working professionals and job seekers aged 18 or older. By using the platform you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

We support sign-in via LinkedIn and Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you use to authenticate, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contactus@careerscopilot.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

You retain ownership of the information and files you submit — including your profile details, education and work history, compensation history, resumes/CVs, and job preferences ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant CareersCopilot a limited licence to store, process, and analyse it solely to provide and improve the services you request (for example, calculating your Career Score or generating a rewritten CV).

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of Your Content. Career scores, benchmarks, and AI-written output are only as reliable as the information you provide — inaccurate or incomplete inputs (for example, incorrect salary, dates, or role history) will produce inaccurate results.

Career Score results, AI-written CVs, interview preparation content, and salary benchmarks are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and statistical models. They are provided for informational and self-improvement purposes only and do not constitute professional career, legal, financial, or immigration advice, and are not a guarantee of job offers, interview success, promotions, or compensation outcomes.

You should independently review and verify any AI-generated CV, interview answer, or recommendation before relying on it or sharing it with an employer.

CareersCopilot offers a free tier and paid plans (currently Starter, Pro, Elite, and one-time purchases) as described on the Upgrade page. Paid plan features, pricing, and usage limits may change from time to time; we will make reasonable efforts to display current pricing before you pay.

Payments are currently processed manually via UPI/bank transfer. You must provide an accurate UTR (transaction reference) number for us to verify and activate your plan; activation may take some time while we confirm payment. Promo codes are subject to their own validity period, usage limits, and eligibility conditions, and may be withdrawn or modified at any time without notice.

Because our paid plans unlock access to digital, on-demand services (AI scoring, CV generation, interview prep, job search access), payments are generally non-refundable once a plan has been activated and the associated features have been accessed or used. If you believe you were charged in error, were unable to access a plan you paid for, or a payment was not activated within a reasonable time, contact contactus@careerscopilot.in and we will review your case in good faith.

You may stop using CareersCopilot at any time; this does not automatically entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.

Partners listed on CareersCopilot (for resume writing, LinkedIn enhancement, courses & certification, interview coaching, personality grooming, and international study/careers) are independent third parties, not employees or agents of CareersCopilot. We review partner applications before listing them, but we do not guarantee the quality, outcomes, pricing, or conduct of any partner's services.

When you contact or engage a partner through the platform, your request details (such as name, email, and phone number) are shared with that partner so they can respond to you directly. Any agreement, payment, or dispute regarding a partner's services is strictly between you and that partner. Businesses applying to become partners agree to provide accurate information and to the review process described on the Register Your Business page.

Verified business users may submit batches of candidate resumes together with a job description for AI-assisted screening against that role. If you use this feature, you represent and warrant that:

• you are authorised to submit each candidate's resume for this purpose;
• you have obtained any consent or have a valid legal basis required by applicable law to share that candidate's personal data with CareersCopilot and to have it processed by AI for screening; and
• you will not use screening results as the sole basis for an employment decision without independent human review, and will use the results in compliance with applicable employment and data protection laws.

CareersCopilot acts as a data processor for candidate resumes submitted this way and is not responsible for the underlying hiring decisions made by the submitting business.

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or another person's personal information without authorisation;
• use the platform to scrape, resell, or redistribute career score, salary, or job data in bulk;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts of other users;
• upload malicious files or content that infringes a third party's intellectual property or privacy rights; or
• use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.

The CareersCopilot name, logo, website, scoring methodology, and underlying software are owned by CareersCopilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for Your Content, nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary technology.

We rely on third-party providers to operate CareersCopilot, including cloud file storage, AI model providers, LinkedIn and Google for sign-in, email delivery, and payment verification tools. Your use of sign-in via LinkedIn or Google is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

CareersCopilot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform, or that career scores, job matches, or AI-generated content will be free of error.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareersCopilot and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of employment opportunity, income, or data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold CareersCopilot harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the resume screening feature for third-party candidate data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to CareersCopilot if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused the platform. You may stop using the platform and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting contactus@careerscopilot.in, subject to the retention terms described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Continued use of CareersCopilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
